The Advanced Manufacturing Technology A.O.S. degree program provides you with the skills for a career centered on precision metal, composite and plastic fabrication. Using computers and other advanced manufacturing technology, you will gain a solid foundation to start you career in precision manufacturing.

This academic program is primarily designed for those who wish to enter the workforce immediately following graduation.

In the Civil Engineering Technology A.A.S. program you will learn how apply engineering principles to real world problems, including how to perform field surveys, test and analyze construction materials and design hydraulic systems. Coursework also offers training in computer utilization and computer-aided drafting (CAD). 

The Associate in Applied Science in Civil Engineering Technology is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, , under the General Criteria and the Program Criteria for Civil Engineering Technology and Similarly Named Programs.

The Computer Aided Drafting Certificate program is an intensive, one-year training program that prepares you to obtain an entry-level position in the field of computer aided drafting and design. During the fall and spring semesters, you will be enrolled in 12 courses, gaining in-depth knowledge of the leading CAD software packages. During the spring semester you will actively participate in selecting an internship site for your six-week summer practicum.

This academic program is primarily designed for those who wish to enter the workforce immediately following graduation.

The Construction Certificate program offers hands-on training in all aspects of residential building including framing, foundations, masonry, insulation, interior finishing as well as plumbing and electrical work. Some students start with this program and transfer into the Construction Technology - Building Construction A.O.S. program to gain a broader background in commercial building design and project management, adding to their residential building skills.

The Electrical Engineering Technology-Electronics A.A.S. degree is designed to meet the demand for employees with electronics skills. You will learn electrical and electronic theories and how to apply those theories in a laboratory setting.

Program graduates work in the electronics field as technicians or in a variety of testing and manufacturing careers. Graduates may choose to enter the workforce or continue their education at a four year-college.

The Electrical Technology: Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology A.A.S. degree prepares students to enter emerging fields such as semiconductor fabrication, micro-electro-mechanical systems and nanotechnology. You will benefit from both classroom education and hands-on instruction.

Graduates may choose to enter the workforce or continue their education at a four year-college. Many of the core courses are taught at the TEC-SMART facility in Malta, which is located adjacent to the GlobalFoundries fabrication plant.

The Mechanical Engineering Technology A.A.S. program provides you with practical, hands-on experience with a strong foundation in mathematics, physics and related technology subjects, this program prepares you to enter the workforce or transfer to a four-year college. Learn how and why a system or mechanism works by studying materials, strength of materials, machine design, computer aided drafting and microcomputer applications.

The Associate in Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, , under the General Criteria and the Program Criteria for Mechanical Engineering Technology and Similarly Named Programs.

Students in the Semiconductor Technology Certificate program receive highly specialized training in semiconductor and nanotechnology, digital electronics, electro-mechanical devices, semiconductor manufacturing and the nanofabrication processes.

Students entering the certificate program generally have already completed a large number of college-level courses in mathematics, electricity and electronics. The college also offers a Electrical Technology: Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology A.A.S. degree program for those students who may not have the prerequisites to enter the certificate program.

This academic program is primarily designed for those who wish to enter the workforce immediately following graduation. Some students who complete the Electrical Engineering Technology-Electronics A.A.S. degree continue on to complete this certificate.

The Welding and Fabrication A.O.S. degree program will prepare you with the skills you need for a career in welding with a focus on metal fabrications. In this program, you will acquire a broad base of knowledge in fabrication and welding, along with instruction in areas like CAD, metrology and metallurgy, providing you with an advanced education not available in other welding programs.

This program is primarily designed for those who wish to enter the workforce immediately following graduation, and the advanced coursework it includes will allow you to do so already prepared with the skills you need to succeed in the industry.
